“I've got the medicine you need...hear me talking, Doctor Rock! Pay me, pay me. I ain't no doctor of philosophy.” Dr. Rock – Motorhead. Love the idea of Dr.Rock and heard this and thought i’d try and follow in the footsteps of Brian May and Brian Cox (why are they always called Brian) and get a PhD as well as playing music. Until recently I’ve been living the dream as the Van Wilder of Biology and in between killing lots of plants in the name of science I love to play rock and roll. Will graduate in the summer but in the mean time music is my life.
Originally I started playing classical piano but at the age of about 15 I gave it up (big mistake) and started messing around on the guitar as I got more and more into rock music. Only really got seriously into it at about 17 and never looked back since. After a few years of Uni and spending all my spare cash on music equipment I managed to get hold of some recording equipment and started jamming down some tracks and messing about with solos and lyrics on an old tascam 4 track. After a while started jamming some tracks with Hannah, my sister, and soon realised I was dealing with a musical genius so started writing some songs together. We’ve now created more than an albums worth of original songs/ instrumentals and so we thought it was time to share those with the world and hopefully entertain you.
